Worland

Wig Worland is an English born photographer currently living in London. For many years, Wig was known as a location and sports photographer, working for System Magazine (1991-1993, and RaD Magazine (1993-1995), Transworld Skateboarding (1992 – 2005) before becoming Photo Editor at Sidewalk Surfer Magazine (1995 – 2004). He has exhibited his work and contributed to several books on skateboarding including Dysfunctional, Booth Clibborn Editions (1999), and The Long Live Southbank book (2014). 

The last few years he has returned to his original habitat, the studio, and worked with clients such as Palace, Rapha, Carhartt, Slam City Skates, Adidas, Belstaff, Baltic Art Gallery, The Tate, Vice, Yinka Shonibare MBE, Dennis Publishing, South London Gallery, Workplace Gallery, Sony, London Nocturne, Red Bull, Mondial Magazine, Nike Futebol, Nike SB, Kingpin Magazine and Sidewalk Magazine

He is a collaborator in the Heritage Lottery Funded MK Skate Project and forthcoming RaD Skateboard Magazine retrospective book.
