Stecyk III
C.R. Stecyk III is a multimedia artist widely acknowledged as a major influence within the genres of graffiti and related subcultures. He has been a contributor to more than 300 international exhibitions including Art in the Streets, 2011 curated by Jeffrey Deitch at the MoCA Los Angeles. His work is included in a number of public collections, including the Smithsonian.
He wrote and produced the Sundance award-winning documentary film Dogtown and Z-Boys, 2001 and his role as editor and author during the late 70s of Skateboarder magazine helped establish skateboarding as we know it today. He has been integral in many other similar endeavours, such as founding Juxtapoz magazine.
